Soul Textiles: A Fiber Journey

Soul Textiles: A Fiber Journey
Opening Reception: 6:30-8:30 pm
General Hours: 11 am-7 pm

From appliquè to embroidery, watercolor to collage, follow the journey of different textiles and how they are transformed in the hands of an artist.

Discover the interconnection between art and fabrics through the work of Michela Martello, Livia Liverani and Nyima Dhondup.

Soul Textiles also explores how each artist mixes yarns from the Tibetan Plateau as fil rouge to create evocative, layered work. The event features a vibrant contemporary art exhibition of the artists’ work, a presentation explaining the artists’ use of MYak natural yarn, and an exciting trunk show to help you find an ethical “Gift that Gives Back” for the holiday season.

This event is free and open to the public
