There are a number of Tibetan Unicode fonts currently available for Mac and PC platforms. Unicode fonts follow computing industry standards that allow for the broadest compatibility of text between and within platforms. In addition to stylistic differences, each Tibetan Unicode font has varying degrees of compatibility across applications, operating systems and platforms.
The purpose of this font compatibility table is to illustrate how commonly used Tibetan Unicode fonts display in different platforms, operating systems and programs. The table takes into consideration whether a font displays in a given application, whether it can be inputted and whether it stacks correctly.
